Provided
A
highly skilled team of resource people from diverse religions, regions,
backgrounds and language groups plan, monitor facilitate and document
a range of services and programmes:
- Regional-level Conflict Resolution
training in collaboration with local organizations and groups, which
facilitates and strengthens networks of skilled peace facilitators
in different regions of South Asia;
- Semi-annual Workshop that provides
opportunities for people from India and other countries to take part
in an intensive training programme to strengthen leadership and facilitation
skills in building peace;
- A one year study programme on conflict
resolution, interfaith relations and peace building which aims at
greater cooperation, exchange and sharing of peace building experiences
and perspectives and net working among some peace-building organizations
in global south.
- Consulting services and assistance
to organizations, communities and groups to analyze conflicts and
seek ways that will help move things in a positive direction;
- Internship opportunities for people
to strengthen their skills in group process and peace building;
- Process facilitation that helps organizations
and groups in building team spirit, leadership and processes that
strengthens respect and unity;
- Initiatives with schools to reduce
prejudice, stereotypes and hatred and promote a culture of peace;
- Opportunities for people to study at
our institute on topics such as conflict resolution, peace building,
gender perspectives on peace, interfaith relations and reconciliation.
- Peace Retreats for Peace facilitators
- Mentoring to strengthen participatory
peace-based training and intervention in conflict settings
- Inter-faith, Inter-denominational,
inter-community relationship building through a process of internship
with HMI
