The academic programmes at HMI focus on Islamic studies, interfaith relations and peacebuilding. Taking into account the growing importance of the multi-religious situation we help the students with a bird’s eye view of major religions like Hinduism, Islam, Christianity, Buddhism, etc. The preparation of the students takes place through a unique combination of rigorous course work, strong interdisciplinary exposure and practical field experience. HMI also provides facilities for long term as well as short term (intensive) language programmes.
